| The technology base & know how that has been transferred into the company is in the use of guided wave laser optics, microfluidics, & sophisticated data analysis software for the development of novel, low cost analytical separations systems for use in a variety of markets, including biopharmaceuticals, wound healing, food & beverage, bio-materials, and environmental monitoring. NSI focuses on the commercialization of a tested detector design for use in early stage drug discovery research & bio-pharmaceutical QC/QA applications. This invention has been developed to study how proteins aggregate (protein structure and protein:protein interaction) in solution. It is used to measure the efficiency of therapies targeted at treating a variety of common degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, as well as for screening samples prior to structural analyses such as x-ray crystallography & NMFI spectroscopy. |
